From time to time Smoky Mountain Children's Home has openings for employment.

There are various positions, which require varied skills, levels of education, and experience. Salaries and benefits are based on the requirements of the position and the applicant's qualifications.

Openings for house parents.

1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old,
2. Have a minimum of one-year experience in children/youth care or ministry and have at least a high school education.
3. Housing, utilities and health insurance provided.
4. Paid vacation after the first year.

Openings for Case Managers.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in social work or related discipline.

1. Must have 1-year experience with adolescents, including family and group work or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Must be capable of relating to residents, other staff and external professionals in a manner to disseminate information in a clear and understandable format.
